Baltimore scored first this afternoon with an RBI single from Ronnie Paulino, scoring Adam Jones. The Phillies scored their first runs in the following inning thanks to a two-run single from Hunter Pence which scored Hector Luna and Jimmy Rollins. After that, Jim Thome singled to score Juan Pierre. 3-1 Phils.
In the top of the fourth, Jason Hammel tossed a wild pitch which allowed Juan Pierre to score, giving the Phillies a 4-1 lead.
With a comfortable lead for Cliff, it all blew up in his face. With one pitch, Steve Tolleson teid the ballgame in the fourth with a three-run jack to left field.
