ESPN's Pedro Gomez is reporting the Phillies and Diamondbacks are discussing a trade which would send Pitcher Cliff Lee (and cash) to the Diamondbacks for OF Justin Upton. This trade would be a dream come true for Phillies fans, but we'll wait until we see how serious this deal is to get excited.
UPDATE: Local Diamondbacks writer Nick Piecoro says reports of a discussed trade are "off base".
Everybody who knows baseball says the same thing,to win a world series you must have PITCHING,PITCHING,and more PITCHING!!! So lets trade a very good pitcher for a very good outfielder. Amaro is just solidifying the fact that he is an idiot. You mean to tell me we can't get an above average outfielder without trading one of our BEST pitchers?
