Great article! I had heard of Luderus but was not aware of the magnitude of his stats...as stated, made even more impressive because of the dead ball era. Very informative piece...thanks

Good article -that picture must be 1920, by the way. As far as I can tell, Casey wasn't on the Phils in 1919.
