NOOOOOOOO! No more old, crappy players! I want to see what a guy like Hunter can do. He's a career .289 hittier in the minors who always exceeds an .800 OPS and has had an extremely low strikeout rate. He just turned 28 in mid-March. Let's see if he can be a diamond in the rough. What do we have to lose? We're not going to the WS this year, but have a unique opportunity with Altherr's injury to give guys like this a chance. That's how we found we had a player in Victorino AND Werth. We'd be crazy to plug in a guy like De Aza or Francoeur, instead of seeing what we have in Hunter.
