Since you probably were you know, watching the game on Wednesday, you probably did not notice that former Eagles linebacker and current talk show host Ike Reese devoted not one, but two opportunities to bash Domonic Brown, who was not even playing in the game:
Aside from an Utley retweet, a Halladay retweet, and a couple lineup retweets, Reese has not provided commentary on Twitter about any other Phillies players. Like his talk show, it's 99% football.
Guess he's the perfect person to offer such critiques of Brown, eh?
This will be the Mets' second time hosting an All-Star Game. They previously hosted the 1964 All-Star Game at the then-young Shea Stadium. This may also be another attempt at bringing back the Mets' fan base. Lately, it has sucked to be a Mets fan. They have sucked for the past five years, they've been in financial holes and they cannot rope in fans no matter what they do.
